Renault Trucks - MKR Technology move in

With a second place and four podium positions, the Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team had a good weekend at Nogaro, maintaining their leadership position in the team rankings. In the stands, the fine weather attracted large crowds of spectators and the 350 French and foreign customers, invited by Renault Trucks, thoroughly enjoyed the event and the experience.

It's getting to be something of a habit for the Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team, picking up four podium places in four races! Motivated by the first event "on home ground", the Franco-Czech team were confident and performed well throughout the weekend with its drivers winning podium positions one after another. Adam Lacko had the best results with a second place on the Saturday. In the overall team rankings, Renault Trucks-MKR Technology remains the leader with 404 points.

In the French Truck Racing Cup, the Aravi team also made this a successful visit to the south-west with a pole position and a victory for Lionel Montagne on the Sunday in his Renault Premium. This has enabled the team to move up two places in the overall rankings, placing them just behind the leader.

For this first racing weekend on French soil since the beginning of the championship, Renault Trucks put on a grand display, inviting some 350 French and foreign customers. Also, the Pace Truck for the event was a Premium Long Distance. Renault Trucks took advantage of the occasion to launch its new French Talents campaign which highlights the manufacturer's French roots via a number of Premium Long Distance vehicles with striking markings to attract spectators. The team drivers were particularly popular with the TruckDrivers’ Club, whose organisers had gone to great lengths to welcome their members and recruit new ones! Renault Trucks maintained a high profile throughout the two days, and its great popularity was clear for all to see, particularly in the boutique, located next to the MKR Technology stand, which was constantly full of keen enthusiasts throughout the weekend.

Renault Trucks is now looking forward to seeing its fans at Donington, in the UK, on 30 June and 1 July. And for those who will be unable to attend, Renault Trucks will be broadcasting the weekend's four races live via its Internet site
